"The Third Dimension"One of the most popular poses in a yoga practice is Adho Mukha Svanasana or downward-facing dog and it gets its name from the position of a dog's back when it is stretching. It is an elongation of the spine by stretching in two directions. This technique, used in many yoga postures, is accomplished by moving the torso only in a linear plane. On the other hand, the cat back or curved spine moves us into the third dimension as the spine makes an enclosure. By rounding the spine and drawing up the strong abdominal muscles, we envelope ourselves and tap into the depth of our physical power.Join us and find your curve...Chosun Taekwondo Academy & Hatha Yoga Center 62 Main Street Warwick, NY
